Native iOS quick fixes

01

An active timer disappeared after reopening

The current iOS session timer is not restored after Gamer Stretch is force-quit or the app process is ended. Open Home and start a new gaming session. Saved reset progress and Guide settings should remain because they are stored separately on the device.

02

The timer looks paused while the app is open

Return to Home and check whether the control says Resume timer. Resume it, or choose End session and start again if the controls do not respond. Moving a timer to the background does not create a repeating background process; an optional local checkpoint notification can alert at zero.

03

The native app is unavailable offline

The routines, timers, settings, and progress features are bundled with the iOS app and do not require a connection. Privacy and Support links open in Safari and do require internet access. If the app itself will not open, restart the iPhone and check the App Store for an update.

02

iOS checkpoint notifications

01

No notification appeared

Open the Guide tab and find Gentle reminders. If permission is Not set up, choose Set up reminders. If it says Off in iOS Settings, choose Open iOS Settings and allow notifications. Session checkpoint alerts must also be on before a gaming timer starts.

02

What an alert should do

Gamer Stretch schedules one local device alert when an active timer reaches zero. It is not a repeating reminder and does not use a remote push server. Pausing or ending the session cancels that checkpoint; resuming schedules the remaining time again. When Gamer Stretch is already open, the checkpoint appears in the app.

03

Review website quick fixes

01

The timer or routine looks paused

Return Gamer Stretch to the foreground and check whether Pause is active. Choose Resume, or close and reopen the page if the controls do not respond. A browser may pause background activity to conserve power.

02

The review website will not load offline

Connect to the internet and open the website once so its public files can be cached. Clearing browser data or using private browsing may require a new online load. To refresh an old version, close every Gamer Stretch tab, reopen the website while online, and reload once.

04

Progress and deletion

Progress is intentionally local. The native app does not use CloudKit or iCloud sync, and the review website does not sync between browsers, browser profiles, or devices. Baja Sky Studios cannot view or restore either progress record.

Native iOS app

  1. Open the Guide tab.
  2. In Local by default, choose Delete local progress.
  3. Confirm Delete all progress.

This deletes completion history but keeps the selected reminder interval, notification preference, Reduce Motion, Larger Text, and Haptic Cues settings. Change those controls individually in Guide. Notification permission is managed in iOS Settings. Removing Gamer Stretch deletes its app container from the current device, though an Apple-controlled device backup may retain or restore app data under the player’s Apple and iOS backup settings.

Review website

  1. Open Gamer Stretch and choose Grown-ups.
  2. Choose Delete local progress.
  3. Confirm deletion in the browser.

Clearing the browser’s Gamer Stretch site data also removes local progress and cached public files. Read the full Privacy Policy for details.

05

Make Gamer Stretch easier to use

In the native app, open Guide to change Reduce Motion, Larger Text, and Haptic Cues. The app also follows iOS Dynamic Type, VoiceOver, and Reduce Motion settings. Haptic feedback depends on the device’s hardware and iOS settings.

On the review website, open Grown-ups for reduced-motion and larger-text controls. Browser zoom, device text size, contrast, and screen-reader settings may provide additional help.

Choose a reminder rhythm that fits the player and the game. A reminder should be a helpful checkpoint, never a punishment or a reason to move through discomfort.

06

Movement and medical safety

Stop immediately for pain, numbness, tingling, weakness, swelling, dizziness, or any new or worsening symptom. Children and teens should tell a parent, caregiver, or trusted adult. Persistent, recurring, worsening, severe, or concerning symptoms need advice from a qualified healthcare professional.

Gamer Stretch provides general-wellness reminders and educational movement content. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease or injury. It is not a substitute for medical advice, and it cannot respond to emergencies. For an urgent or emergency concern, stop using the app and contact local emergency services or an appropriate healthcare professional.
